I wrote this after seeing In The Heights for the first time in August 2008, but I never posted it because back then I had more filter. The show closed this past Sunday, January 9th, after winning 4 Tony awards (including Best Musical and one for Mr. Miranda himself: Best Score) and running for almost 3 solid years.
